A cult brand attracts a fanatical following.  That’s why it’s called a cult brand.  If ever there was a cult brand, it is Apple.  If ever there was cult leader, it is Steve Jobs.  If ever there were fanatics, they are the die-hard members of the Apple corps.  What does this mean?  Until I see a blocks-long line of Verizon “die-hards” waiting overnight to get a Voyager phone, I will say also that if ever there was an oxymoron it is “Verizon fanatic”.

This doesn’t mean the Voyager phone can’t or won’t be a hit, but iPhone killer?  Come on.
