Carlos Ghosn, the savior of Nissan (NSANF.PK), appears eager for a shot at doing the same for GM.  It could get very interesting very quickly if he gets the nod: word's out that he may have no qualms at all about getting rid of Saab and Hummer, then dumping Pontiac and Buick.  He may not stop there.  None other than GMC and even Saturn may not make his cut.  Doesn't seem that long ago when Saturn was nothing less than a cultural icon.  MIddle-brow, yes, but iconic nonetheless.   Should "Super Carlos" have his way, look for  golf-cartish micro-machines like the Smart rolling out pretty quickly.  A "different kind of company", indeed.
